If you know me, you know that a) I LOVE to entertain b) I am obsessed with collecting unique and playful sets of china and c) I adore West Elm. So you can imagine how excited I was to come across this quirky collection of Gilded Dapper Animal Plates from one of my all-time favourite home décor stores.
Designed by Rachel Kozlowski, this collection is based on paintings of real animals, which she then dresses and accessorizes with subtle metallic accents. What I really love most about this exciting collection is that I can mix and match, using a few of these plates combined with plates that I already have at home, to create a playful and stylish table setting, perfect for the upcoming holiday season. An added bonus? The collection doesn't stop at plates; there are mugs, tea towels and even pillows to choose from.

A table setting: This adorable table setting shows you how you can mix and match using West Elm's Gilded Dapper Animal Plates to create a chic table setting.
Gilded Dapper Animal Mugs: Featuring the same animals as above, West Elm's Gilded Dapper Animal Mugs ($10.00 each) will keep your guests happily sipping on coffee or tea as they wind down from your delicious dinner.
Gilded Dapper Animal Tea Towels: $39.00 for a set of 4, these Gilded Dapper Animal Tea Towels are made from 100% cotton duck canvas and are machine washable.
Dapper Animal Plates: This playful collection extends to include all sorts of animals including this set. Slightly less refined, these Dapper Animal Plates ($10 each) would be a perfect addition to a casual and rustic dinner party.
According to Kowzlowski, her "designs are fun, clever + lighthearted.” I could not agree more and cannot wait to entertain in style with this amazing collection!
