Goji berries are the latest power house super food that seems to help everything that could ail you. It is a berry that is grown and imported from China and in Canada most of us can only get it dried. There is apparently a farm in Ontario that grows them but we were unable to track them down. Goji berries are literally packed with healthy nutrients and are said to be the number one food to add to your list. They are packed with Vitamin C, are a powerful anti-oxidant and can assist with improving heart health, diabetes, eye problems and the effects of aging. You can also find Goji berry juice and juice blends that are actually becoming quite mainstream these days.

You can find Goji berries in health food stores dried and in juices.
How to store it:
Keep in an air tight container that does not have to be refrigerated. However you can place them in the fridge if you wish.
Why you should try it:
Goji berries are such a powerful whole food that it would be a sin not to try them. Because they are purchased dry you can sprinkle them on cereal, use them in place of raisins in baked goods and eat them as a snack. You can also enjoy the juice on its own or in smoothies and juice blends.
