Boost your energy with this raspberry, vanilla & banana smoothie

What's better than fresh, plump and tart raspberries? Raspberries combined with fragrant vanilla and sweet banana. Throw them all together into a blender, along with some Greek Yogurt and some soy (or almond) milk, and you've got the perfect start to your day. Want to up the health factor of this smoothie? Toss in a handful of baby kale or spinach, a tbsp of chia seeds and a scoop of whey protein powder. Whip it up tomorrow for an energy-boosting breakfast, a mid-afternoon snack (to get you through that afternoon slump) or even for an after dinner snack.

3 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
1 banana, can be frozen
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup soy, regular or almond milk
1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth. Serve immediately.
