These stunning and delicious crostini celebrate the natural pairing of figs, goat cheese and honey. A perfect appetizer for any special night

Fresh figs, gaot cheese, honey and walnuts? If you ask us, these ingredients are a match made in heaven.
1 baguette, thinly sliced
4 to 6 ripe figs, sliced into thin wedges
1 cup crumbled goat cheese
1 cup toasted walnuts
1/2 cup honey
Preheat oven to 425 F. Lay slices of baguette on a large rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and pepper. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
When ready to assemble, spread each crostini with an even layer of goat cheese. Top with fig slices, a whole or chopped walnuts. Drizzle top with honey and sprinkle with sea salt. Serve immediately.
